पावन, सुंदर और शांत प्रकृति के हरियाले आंचल में बसा है महादेव का एक ऐसा मंदिर जो खुद बयां करता है इस मंदिर के सबसे अनोखे होने की कहानी. मन को हर लेने वाली इसकी सुंदरता में स्वयं महादेव का वास होता है और यहां कण-कण शिव की शक्ति की कहानी सुनाता है . इसी मंदिर में दुनिया के सबसे ऊंचे शिवलिंग के साथ ही करीब 1 करोड़ शिवलिंग भी हैं.

आप को सब शिव भक्तों का स्वगात है मेरे ब्लॉग में आज आप को ऐसे मन्दिर के बरेंमे बताया जाएगा जो कि आपने आप मे अदभुत है शिव जी की क्रिपा सब पे होती है जल्दी से तभी तो उन्हें भोलेनाथ केहते है पर ऐसी बात का प्रमाण है ये मंदिर जहाँ 1 करोड़ से भी ज्यादा शिवलिंग है


आपने महादेव के कई मन्दिर के दर्शन किए होंगे, उनके कई रूप भी देखे होंगे। अगर ऐसा हो की मंदिर (temple ) का size ही मंदिर(temple) की कहानी (story explain) करे तो कैसा महसूस(feel) होगा, जी हाँ, ऐसा  हुआ है भारत  (India) के कोलार Kolar District के कम्सन्द्र (Kammasandra) गांव(Village) में। जहाँ मन्दिर का आकर ही मन्दिर की identity बताता है, ओर वो शिवजी का मंदिर है, जो की वहाँ कोटिलिंगेश्वर महादेव (Kotilingeshwara Mahadev) के नाम से काफी प्रसिद्ध (famous) है। जो की world का सबसे बड़ा मन्दिर temple है। अगर temple का size ही Mahadev की महिमा सुनाए और temple में प्रवेश करते ही महादेव की power का अंदाजा हो जाए तो भला इससे ज्यादा खूबसूरती की क्या बात होगी। जिसके चारों तरफ मौजूद करोंड़ों शिवलिंग शिव जी के प्रति उनके भक्तों की भक्ति की अनूठी कहानी सुनाते हैं।

कोटिलिनेश्वर महादेव :-

मन्दिर के अंदर जाते ही आपको शिव जी की  का अहसास हो जायेगा,

 because “when any person goes into the temple he feels positive.”

 मंदिर का रंग काले रंग का है, इसका color black , black stones कि वजह से है, जो की शिवलिंग का रूप लिए हुए हैं।

 Kotilingeshwara Mahadev Temple को देख कर ऐसा एहसास होता है की इस मन्दिर से बड़ा ओर कोई मन्दिर नहीं है। इस temple के अंदर भगवान शिव जी की एक प्रतिमा है, जिसको देखकर ऐसा feel होता है कि भगवान स्वयं मानव स्वरुप में विराजमान हो।

 कोटिलिनेश्वर Mahadev के सामने नन्दि भी विराजमान है।

यहाँ है 1 करोड़ से भी ज्यादा शिवलिंग :-

कोई भी surprise में पड़ सकता है कि आखिर main temple के आस-पास लाखों शिवलिंग क्यों स्थापित हैं. यहां आने वाले devotees की wishes में इस surprise का राज छिपा है. इस temple में भक्त अपने मन में सच्ची श्रद्धा लिए आते हैं और अपनी सामर्थ्य के अनुसार 1 feet से लेकर 3 feet तक के शिवलिंग अपने नाम से यहां स्थापित करवाते हैं। ये Kotilingeshwara Mahadev की महिमा ही है कि अब इन शिवलिंगों की संख्या करीब 1 Crore तक पहुंच चुकी है, जोकि लगातार बढ़ेगी।

यहाँ मन्दिर  में ,लोग अलग-अलग श्रद्धा लेकर के आते है, जैसे की पुत्र प्राप्ति, शादी में खुशहाली, ओर भी कई तरह की प्रथना के लिए आते है।

ओर पूरी होने पर वहाँ एक शिवलिंग की स्थापना करते है 

वहाँ एक शिव जी के शेवक नंदी जी की बोत बड़ी मूर्ति है :-

इस Kotilingeshwara Mahadev temple में Biggest शिव-लिंग के सामने नंदी जी भव्य और विशाल रूप में दर्शन देते हैं, जिसकी height 35 feet है और जिनकी length 60 feet, width 40 feet और वह 4 feet height वाले चबूतरे (Planet) पर placed है। इस बोत बड़े शिवलिंग के चारों ओर देवी मां, श्री गणेश, श्री कुमारस्वामी और नंदी महाराज की प्रतिमाएं ऐसे स्थापित हैं जैसे वे अपने आराध्य को अपनी पूजा अर्पण कर रहे हों। मंदिर का यही अद्भुत रूप और हर मन्नत पूरी होने की मान्यता ही दूर-दूर से हजारों भक्तों  को यहां खींच लाती है।

Kotilingeshwara के अंदर enter करते ही कोटिलिंगेश्वर की प्रतिमा में भक्तों को साक्षात Mahadev के दर्शनों की अनुभूति होती है और कोटिलिंगेश्वर रूप में भोले अपने भक्तों के कष्टों (problems) को हरने(remove) के लिए आतुर दिखायी देते हैं। इस पूरे kotilingeshwara Mahadev Temple परिसर में कोटिलिंगेश्वर के Main temple के अलावा 11 temples और भी हैं, जिनमें ब्रह्माजी, विष्णुजी, अन्न्पूर्णेश्वरी देवी, वेंकटरमानी स्वामी, पांडुरंगा स्वामी, पंचमुख गणपति, राम-लक्ष्मण-सीता के temples मुख्य रूप से विराजमान (Placed) हैं।

 ऐसी भी है यहाँ अनोखा :-

मान्यता है की Kotilingeshwara Mahadev Temple परिसर में मौजूद दो trees पर yellow color के धागे (thread) को बांधने से हर wish पूरी हो जाती है। विशेषकर marriages में आने वाली problems दूर हो जाती हैं। temple की तरफ से भी poor families की girls का विवाह नाममात्र (little) का शुल्क (fees) लेकर करवाया जाता है। सारी व्यवस्था temple की तरफ से की जाती है. वहीं, दूर-दूर से आने वाले भक्तों के रहने-खाने का भी यहां उचित arrengement किया जाता है। महाशिवरात्रि पर तो इस temple की छटा देखते ही बनती है। अपने आराध्य देव को अपने श्रद्धा-सुमन अर्पण कर पुण्य लाभ कमाने वाले श्रद्धालुओं की संख्या 2 lakhs तक पहुंच जाती है।

We know of Shiva Temple with 108 Shiva Lingas9 Papanasam ,neaar Mayiladuthurai),1000 Lingas,Kbal Spean (Khmer: ក្បាលស្ពាន) (“Bridge Head”  Angkorian era archaeological site on the southwest slopes of the Kulen Hills to the northeast of Angkor in Siem Reap District, Siem Reap Province, Cambodia. It is situated along a 150m stretch of the Stung Kbal Spean River, 25 kilometres (16 mi) from the main Angkor group of monuments.).

We have a temple in Karnataka where there are 9 Million Shiva Lingas!

The main attraction of this peaceful retreat, which is surrounded by plush greenery, is a huge Shivalinga. Measuring 108 ft (33 m), this shivalinga is tallest of its kind in the world and accompanying it is a 35 ft (11 m) tall Basava, surrounded by lakhs of small shivalingas spread over an area of 15 acres (61,000 m2). So far, around 90 lakh shivalingas have been installed. The entire project involves the installation of one crore shivalingas of various sizes, hence the name ‘Kotilingeshwara’.

The Lord Kotilingeshwara Temple is situated in Kammasandra Village in Kolar district, Karnataka State, India. The temple is about 6 km from Kolar Gold Fields also known as KGF. The main deity of this temple is Lord Kotilingeshwara. This Temple was constructed by Swamy Sambha ShivaMurthy which is open to public from early morning till 9.30 p.m.

The temple boasts of having the largest Linga in Asia which stands 108 feet (33 m) tall. In front of this huge Linga there is a huge Nandi (Animal mount of Lord Shiva) which is 35 feet (11 m) tall. The Nandi is installed over a platform which is 60 feet (18 m) in length, 40 feet (12 m) in width and 4 feet (1.2 m) in height.

There are eleven small temples of various deities constructed within the premises of the Lord Kotilingeshwara temple. The first to be constructed is the Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu and Lord Maheshwara temple, followed by the main deity temple Lord Kotilingeshwara. The sequence of the other temples are Lord Venkataramani Swamy Temple, Goddess Annapoorneshwari Temple, Lord Panduranga Swamy Temple, Lord Panchamukha Ganapathy temple, lord ram Lakshmana and Sita Temple, Lord Anjaneya Temple, Goddess Kannika Parameshwari Temple and finally Goddess Karumaari Amma Temple.

Inside the Goddess Kannika Parameswari temple, a shiva lunga called “Shiva Panchayathi” is installed. The idols of lord ganesha, Lord Kumaraswamy, Goddess Parvati and Nandi are arranged around the Linga, Giving an essence that all these Gods are offering their prayers to the Linga. A water tank is set up close to the Linga. The water is used by the devotees to offer their prayers by performingAbhisheka to the Linga with utmost devotion and faith.

There are millions of Lingas being installed surrounding the temple by the pilgrims since 1980 spread over an area of 13 acres (53,000 m2). There are more than 8.6 million Lingas installed as of 2008. The lingas installed vary between 1 foot (0.30 m) and 3 feet (0.91 m) tall.The temple was started with the intent of installing 1 crore lingas, hence the name “Kotilingeshwara”. Koti means crore (10 million). The Sahasra Linga is in the shape of a single Linga but consists of 1000 Lingas etched on a single column. One must reckon each such Linga as 1000 Lingas to arrive at the aggregate number of Lingas installed.

The temple has two NagaLinga Flower Trees or Cannon Ball Flower Trees. The unmarried women pray with devotion and faith to Lord Lingeswara wishing for a happy married life and tie a yellow thread around the Tree. One can see yellow threads covering the entire Tree.

The Karnataka government has declared this temple as a tourist spot so that devotees and pilgrims from all over the world can witness the 108-foot (33 m)-tall Linga and 35 Feet tall Nandi statue.”
